DTECH Cabling Systems (UK) Limited confirms that its products are designed and manufactured in compliance with both the UK RoHS Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/3032, as amended) and EU RoHS 3 — Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863 — which together restrict the use of ten hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
Great Britain
UK RoHS Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/3032, as amended). Enforced by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS). UKCA marking is required for products placed on the GB market.
European Union and Northern Ireland
EU RoHS 3 — Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863. CE marking is required for products placed on the EU market or in Northern Ireland under the Windsor Framework.
Our products do not contain any of the following substances above the specified maximum concentration values (MCVs) at the homogeneous material level:
The four phthalates were introduced under EU Directive 2015/863 (RoHS 3) and incorporated into UK RoHS by amendment. All ten substances apply across our full product range. Where products fall within a permitted exemption category (Annex III/IV under EU RoHS 3 or Schedule 2 under UK RoHS), this is documented in the relevant product technical file.

DTECH Cabling Systems (UK) Limited confirms its commitment to compliance with both UK REACH (the REACH etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020, SI 2020/1577, enforced by the Health and Safety Executive) and EU REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, administered by the European Chemicals Agency, ECHA), in respect of articles supplied by DTECH to the GB and EU/EEA markets respectively.

UK REACH (SI 2020/1577). Enforced by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Applies to England, Scotland, and Wales. The UK REACH SVHC candidate list is maintained independently by HSE and has not been updated since January 2021.
European Union and Northern Ireland
EU REACH — Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. Administered by ECHA. Applies to the EU/EEA market and to Northern Ireland under the Windsor Framework.
Both UK REACH and EU REACH require suppliers of articles to notify customers when a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) is present above 0.1% by weight of the article, and to communicate sufficient information to allow safe use.
Note on list divergence: The UK REACH and EU REACH SVHC candidate lists are maintained independently and are diverging over time. The EU REACH candidate list currently contains 247 substances (as of January 2025); the UK REACH list has not been updated since January 2021 and contains approximately 219 substances. DTECH monitors both lists and assesses compliance against each independently.
To the best of our knowledge and based on information received from our supply chain, the articles supplied by DTECH do not contain SVHCs above the 0.1% w/w threshold under either the UK REACH or EU REACH candidate lists. Where DTECH becomes aware that an SVHC is present above this threshold in any article, DTECH will notify affected customers and provide the information required under Article 33 of EU REACH and the equivalent provision under UK REACH.
DTECH monitors both the UK REACH and EU REACH Annex XVII restricted substances lists and assesses our products against both. As with the SVHC candidate lists, the UK and EU Annex XVII lists may diverge over time, and DTECH tracks each independently to ensure continued compliance in both markets.
DTECH’s REACH compliance is based on technical knowledge of our products and materials, declarations and data received from our upstream supply chain, and ongoing monitoring of both the UK HSE and EU ECHA candidate lists and restricted substances updates. As an article supplier, DTECH is not a registrant under either REACH regime, but we work with our supply chain to ensure substances in our products are appropriately registered by upstream manufacturers and importers as required.
Customers requiring SVHC declarations, materials declarations, or other REACH-related documentation for inclusion in their own compliance records are welcome to contact us. Please specify whether documentation is required for UK REACH, EU REACH, or both, as the applicable SVHC lists differ.
